It’s taken me years to perfect gluten free baking. But it was my love of wandering farmers’ markets with a coffee and sweet treat in hand that made me realize there was a gaping hole in the market. Folks like me just couldn’t do that!
In 2018, I took my homemade gluten free sweet treats to a local market. It went bananas and I sold out in the first 30 minutes! I knew then that, just like me, you needed this.
It was never enough to simply be "Gluten Free". I wanted to ensure you had a guarantee that you could not only enjoy the sweet treats that you missed out on, but that you could do so safely.
In 2020, we went about achieving our Coeliac Australia accreditation. This is a tick of approval that every baked goodness we create is made to be 100% GF guaranteed. Champagne and Gumboots is the only Coeliac Australia Accredited Cake Boutique and Patisserie in Western Australia.
