The Red Velvet cupcake is a staple in America but has taken off here in Aus more recently. A light chocolate cupcake with a slight touch of sourness, this famous cupcake gets its name from its very delicate velvet like crumb.
But to take it to the next level completely, we didn’t just top it with salted caramel buttercream, we went the extra mile and added salted caramel popcorn… and even more caramel sauce to the top! Go big or go home I say!
